United for Greater Awareness: Our Commitment to PARKOUR
For several years now, we’ve been supporting AbbVie Care Germany in the areas of marketing and editorial work. One project especially close to our hearts is the Parkinson’s magazine PARKOUR. Twice a year, a new issue comes to life – offering knowledge, courage, and guidance to people living with Parkinson’s and their loved ones. Each edition is crafted with deep empathy, editorial care, and one clear mission: to make Parkinson’s visible and to empower those affected.
What Exactly Is Parkinson’s?
Parkinson’s disease is a chronic, progressive neurological condition that affects the central nervous system. Its most characteristic symptoms include tremor, muscle stiffness (rigidity), slowed movements (bradykinesia), and postural instability. But Parkinson’s reaches far beyond motor symptoms. It can also influence mood, sleep, cognitive abilities, and therefore daily life – both at home and at work. The condition requires not only medical attention but also societal understanding and personal resilience.
A Magazine That Connects Knowledge and Humanity
That’s exactly what the PARKOUR magazine is designed to do: inform, inspire, and connect. Each issue is created in close collaboration with medical experts, therapists, people living with Parkinson’s, and their families. The content is relatable, accessible, and empowering – with the goal of not only explaining but also encouraging. Readers typically find in each edition:
- Insights into current research, new therapeutic approaches, and developments in medication
- Interviews with neurologists, caregivers, and people living with Parkinson’s
- Everyday tips on movement, nutrition, mental well‑being, and quality of life
- Stories that inspire courage and show that life with Parkinson’s can be active, creative, and self‑determined
- Information on events, support groups, and digital resources for connection and community
Our Role: Editorial Work, Design, and Coordination
At Allround Team, we accompany the project from start to finish – with an interdisciplinary perspective and a great deal of heart. Our contributions include:
- Editorial planning and topic development
- Research and conducting interviews
- Writing, editing, and fine‑tuning language
- Layout and visual design
- Coordination of printing, distribution, and online publication
Together with AbbVie Care, we bring each edition to life – in print and digital – ensuring that every issue reaches, moves, and informs the people who need it most. In doing so, we focus on accessible design, inclusive language, and a tone that creates genuine closeness.
